Hi, I’m Heather

a wedding + elopement photographer working in digital and 35mm film, based in Scotland and working across the UK and Europe

Trained as an artist and painter, I admire the details, notice the quiet moments and I feel the loud ones. Sunlight through stained glass, fleeting touches, real, raw laughter with friends. Photographs that have movement and feeling, an atmosphere you can almost hear.

I’ve always sought a way to communicate the beauty I see in the world, and collaborating with fun, trusting, passionate couples allows space to document this beauty and love with ease. I find myself drawn to genuine love, whether quiet and intimate or wild and extroverted, it’s a glimpse into honest passion and I can’t get enough of it. 

I see so much beauty not only in people but in fashion, architecture, interiors, communication, connection between loved ones and shared experiences. Observing and documenting a day as pure as a wedding day is a blessing every single time.

fiùr is a blend of fior meaning authentic, honest, genuine, and flùr meaning flower, a nod to my name. ‘fi’ is the promise of my brand and ‘ùr’ is the soul within it.

    Heather was truly amazing. From the moment we met her we knew sharing our wedding day with her would be a breeze! She was so responsive, helpful, and just the sweetest person to work with. Starting with our engagement session, Heather was easygoing and the whole experience felt so natural. We loved her style and she captured exactly what we were looking for!

    Then on our wedding day, Heather was exactly the calming presence I needed! It’s an emotionally overwhelming day but she made everything seamless. Even my makeup artist commented on how amazing and positive she was! We are so happy with our photos and the extra touches heather provided along the way made it all the more special. I like to consider her a friend and honestly can’t recommend her enough!!
